There are still apparently many species of Lonchaeidae still unrecognised in the forests and jungles of Asia. This paper lists 22 new species from nine Asian countries. most are in the genera Lonchaea and Silba but two species are also assigned to the genus Setisquamalonchaea.                        Lonchaea gigantea

Malaysia  : Silba bambusae - Silba breviplumosa - Silba malaysia - Silba translucens                           

Mongolia : Lonchaea mongolia

Vietnam :   Silba microcercosa
